Boots & Beer Walking Festival 2008
Friday 12th September to Sunday 14th September 2008
What could be better than a weekend of great walks, beautiful countryside, fantastic beer and excellent entertainment? We are delighted to announce the details of the 7th annual Black Sheep Boots and Beer Walking Festival.
The ticket price for this year’s Walking Festival is £20.00 per person and includes a choice of 14 superb walks over the weekend ranging from short to long, specially written by Mark Reid, author of ‘The Inn Way’ guide books. The walks are self-guided with full back-up including detailed route descriptions, OS maps, checkpoints and back-markers who will be provided by the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority.
Walks start from either Hawes (3 walks per day), Askrigg (2 walks per day) or Aysgarth (2 walks per day). There will be a free daytime ‘shuttle bus’ linking the three Registration Desks.
Before the event you will receive a ‘Walking Festival Booklet’ detailing everything you need to know about the Walking Festival including what to bring, safety information, details of the walks, evening entertainment plus much more (this will be sent to you at the end of August).
As part of the ticket price you will also receive a superb Goody Bag and an exclusive Boots & Beer T-shirt as well as a Walker’s Tally Card which will include a Pub Trail Collector Card. These items will be issued at the Festival registration.
If you require any further information or have any queries please do not hesitate to contact Ashleigh, Louise or Jess on 01765 680127 or email ashleigh.robson@blacksheep.co.uk
